Dr. Kathleen Yen, a Houston psychiatrist, strives to offer a calm, comfortable and safe atmosphere for patients to open up and tell their stories. Her goal is to provide individualized, compassionate care to improve mental health and overall wellness in each unique person.

As a board certified adult psychiatrist, Kathleen Yen, MD, PLLC started her education journey at Bellaire High School and Rice University. She then received her medical degree, as well as did her psychiatry residency, at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Dr. Yen has a thorough understanding of depression and anxiety treatment because of her advanced and continuous training in medication management, psychodynamic therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
